    A view of part of the area known as Street End over the roof of Dingle Cottage towards Alexandra Cottage (left) and Glen View (right). Gen View was two cottages, it is now one. The photograph was taken in the 1920s by Charlie Jones, uncle of the late John Gallop, The History Society is currently researching Street End – if you have any information we’d love to hear from you …
