• Is the image the right way round?
• Is it duplicated in the archive?
• When was the image taken?
• Why was it taken?
• Who took it?
• Where is it?
• What does it show?
• Can you identify the people in it?
• Any observations about the image
• Anecdotes inspired by the images

I remember this. While we were on holiday at Priddy when I was about 6 (1951) my Dad joined the haymaking on Squire Simmonds’ farm. As the remaining square area of uncut grass became smaller many little creatures ran out & fled across the field for their dear lives. There seemed to be hundreds of tiny green frogs which were so transparent that you could see their hearts beating when you held them on your palm
