    The man on the right is my grandfather, Fred Watts, wheelwright and carpenter, in the rear garden of the house now known as ‘Pooracre’ In the background is a wheelbarrow, also a small pair of steps, both of which I still have.
    This photo was wrongly captioned in ‘Bygone Blagdon’ The man on the left may be Bill Bush, my grandfather’s apprentice.
