Photograph from the late David Lock’s collection – delivering a new petrol tank opposite the Seymour Arms. This photo is cropped a little – the original shows a petrol pump on the right. The garage stood on the site now occupied by Mead Terrace, with the pumps across the road. There’s a series of photos showing the tank being lowered into position. The Addicott archive also contains a photo of ‘Robert’s garage’.
