Photograph taken in early 1900s from the late John Gallop’s collection featuring the newly built Inspection House in the background. Blagdon Station, part of Wrington Vale Light Railway, opened for passenger traffic in December 1901. On the side of some of the trucks ‘John Wainwright & Company, Moon’s Hill stone. There is evidence that construction is still taking place in the area behind the trucks.
