I love this place. My great grandparents lived there. Their names were Edwin and Sabrina Carpenter. They had two children. Edwin Carpenter and Ivy Carpenter later to become Ivy Hole. We lost our last link with this beautiful place in 1993 when my great uncle Edwin died aged 93. Although our familys heart will always be there. My Dad Adrian Hole lived there as a child for a while and it was also my first home after my birth.I am the 4th generation to have called this place home. I have very fond memories of visits to see Uncle Edwin as a child.

My Great Grandfather, George Rayson, was Sabrina’s brother. My Mum, Queenie Light, and her sister, Ruby, grew up next door to Edwin at Coombe Bungalow. Their Grandparents, George and Mary Rayson, lived opposite at Highland Villa. Mum died last year at the age of 92.
