This is Andrew Addicott’s old house, now called Bilbie House

Well done, Tamara. Andrew successfully applied for planning permission to build a dwelling at the far end of the rear garden. He didn’t go on to build before he died as he became less able to do things. He was unable to sustain the publication of his free newspaper, the Mendip Life, as he became older. Julie Chamberlain down at the Blagdon club was his brilliant assistant and if you’d like to know more I’m sure she’d tell you.
