what a great picture! Like them all, it makes me smile
I lived here at ‘Oakwell’ from age 4 until i was 23 and i never knew that the original garage front was this close to the road. My father Graham carried out his haulage business from the garage, he was in partnership with Harry Lyons and my mum started a Hairdressing business from the house … Happy Days!
Hi there, i know that this is a long shot and you may not read this but we live in highfield house, the old garage and would love to know more about the history of our house.
