This is my grandad Bert Young, note the solid wheels because the rubber ones were taken for the war effort!

My gt. grandfather, James Young, one of several sons of a Richard Young of Blagdon, was born in Blagdon C 1820. Following Richard’s death,he moved with his brother, John to North Curry . In 1860 he came to Wales with his wife Jane(Gannett) and several children, including my grandfather, Charles.
Looking at the photo of your grandfather, Bert, I see similarity in looks to my father. Must be a connection somewhere.
